A Coup in Camelot WORSE THAN OSAMA and 9-11
The event that made Viet Nam and the deaths of over 58,000 inevitable? The rift in the fabric of national unity irreparable? And destroyed the ability of Americans to trust our leaders to seek and tell the TRUTH forever?
Every 5 years or so I find my mind returning to 11-22-63 as I look for new information concerning JFK and The Death of America as I knew it. A HS Senior and minority Democrat here in Knoxville made the election of JFK very important for me.The Summer of 1961 spent in DC as Senate Page for Al Gore Sr. raised awareness of DC and politics more than average HS students so I was more affected by the tragedy than many.
That necessary background fed my obsession with assassination information. An obsession that has not diminished much since raised in 1991 with Oliver Stone's JFK and in 2015 by The Devil's Chessboard detailing the role of Allen Dulles in the Death of America.
A COUP IN CAMELOT viewed for the first time this past week with forensic science applied to the remaining evidence seems sufficient for the most jaded deniers to finally establish once and forever the fact that JFK was killed by a bullet fired from the front after the initial shot in the throat fired from the front. I have a sizable library of films, books, and websites addressing the plethora of theories concerning the Mob, Cuba, KGB, LBJ, and combinations of the same as plausible theories on who perpetrated the heinous act. Some are quite effective but A COUP IN CAMELOT is the most scientific and capable forensic examination of the lot.
I have accepted the fact we will never return to 11-22-63 in the meaningful way required to illuminate the truth of what actually happened to the nation- but those of us who care enough can keep the truth alive. The Devil's Chessboard - Mother Jones Review of the Allen Dulles led CIA. Dulles was responsible for what happened in Guatemala, Iran, Chile, and other unforgivable transgressions in our name. It was his set up of the young President at the Bay of Pigs that led to the eventual death of the President.
Despite the fact, RFK served the rabid arch anti-communist, Joseph P. McCarthy on the House Un-American Activities Committee and the uncompromising policy of estrangement with Castro in Cuba; JFK was somehow considered 'soft on communism'.
Knowing that any attempt to intervene in a civil war in a war adapted country easily fed by both China and the USSR halfway around the world would be insanely difficult; the Military Industrial Complex departing President Eisenhower warned against was bent on acquiring the riches promised by war. The lives of young Americans were a small price to pay for the loot that could be gleaned from feeding the war machine.
Dulles was part of the American Imperialism that would promote American corporate interests using brutal dictators to enrich the few and disenfranchise the many by theft of natural resources belonging to South and Central American nations. Citizens of Chile would not be allowed to democratically elect any leader who would force American business to pay a fair price for their resources. Any effort at land reform that might put land in the hands of native born people in Guatemala, Cuba, Chile or Nicaragua would be met by assassination and genocide.
